THE WORKINGS OF MEMBRANE PRESSURE TANKS





For example a pressure switch at the setting at 2 bars – the pump on and 4 bar – the pump off.



Condition A

Water pump on condition not yet in on, the water pressure in the pipeline is still 0 bars.  The air pressure in the tank is already there from the manufacturer.  The air pressure in the tank will depress the membrane (baloon) to the outer shell.

Condition B

The pump is already beginning to live and water pressure start pressing memBran, so the membrane will be enlarged and the air inside the tank will be depressed and pressure will join up.  If there were no taps are opened then the pressure of the water will continue to rise.

Condition C

The pump keeps water in the membrane presses up to a maximum of 4 bar and the pump will be off.  The air inside the tank will also be depressed up to 4 bar.

Condition D

After the condition C pump in condition off, then there is a faucet is opened so that the water pressure will drop to 3 bar dan so on.  The pressurized air inside tank will hit the water out of the tank until it reaches the lowest pressure of 2 bar.  After reaching the water pressure 2 bar then the pressure switch will turn on the pump.  The water pressure will begin to rise again until you reach the last 4 bars of the pump will stop.  On water and air in the tank tapping each other.



 





INSTALLATION OF THE PIPELINE ON TRACK



At the time of water pressure within plumbing and tanks down to reach 2 bar,then the pump impeller would live and raise the pressure in the pipe.  In addition to raising the pressure pipe into the pump also raise pressure into the tank.  With dipasangnya membrane tank the pump will increase the pressure slowly to achieve a pressure of 4 bar.  After achieving pressure 4 bar then the pump will be off.
